Orrock Property is a new business for Ross Orrock, who is in the industry for sourcing & protecting your property assets. He decided he was ready to start growing his digital presence and reached out to me. He needed a one page website with all the information on his services available to share with potential customers. He had a logo already designed, so I ran with that to create some ideas.
Using the logos colour scheme, typeface and some initial copy, I started by designing a website shell based on all of this. Sourcing imagery for the client that helps to showcase his industry and services. Alongside some graphics using the brands colours, the website started taking shape.
After the first website reveal, Ross was able to the source more copy and imagery to fill in the gaps of the site. Having placeholder text and imagery is useful for clients when creating their first website as it’s hard to think about what needs to be there. Once the draft site is created though it is much easier to visualise what you need.
We added in the final text and images, along with integrating his Mailchip forms and information documents into the website, and the website was ready to go. A brilliant one page website, designed, built and made live in under a week.
